CMCG developed an overarching crisis and emergency management plan and a business continuity plan for the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a major biomedical research institute in Cambridge, MA. CMCG conducted a Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) of Broad’s operations and business functions. We conducted a planning workshop with key Broad stakeholder to identify crisis management policies and procedures, as well as recovery strategies to build an integrated plan. In addition, we established a business continuity capability for 11 of Broad’s critical departments spread out over four buildings in an urban setting. Following completion of both plans, CMCG conducted training and a tabletop exercise that included participation from Broad’s executive management.
CMCG conducted additional BIAs to incorporate research laboratory operations as part of the overarching Broad Institute crisis and emergency management program.
